This is my seventh year as counselor at Weatherford High School, and my first year as the Junior/Senior counselor. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX. My career in education began by teaching middle school Spanish and then high school Spanish. I received my Master’s degree in School Counseling and have been the 9th & 10th grade counselor at WHS for the last six years. This year I am enjoying working with 11th and 12th grade students—especially since I already knew these students during their freshman and sophomore years! We are all learning a lot this year—especiallly about preparing for life after high school, since this exciting event is close on the horizon for upperclassmen. I love my job as school counselor and hope my students will let me know how I can help them.
