I graduated from Turpin High School. I attended NWOSU where I graduated with a Business Adminstration degree. I then attended SWOSU and received my Masters in Education.

I began teaching for Weatherford High School in August of 2002. I have taught Special Education English and Reading Improvement classes. I retired from teaching in 2016, but continued to work for Weatherford Public Schools. I came out of retirement in 2019 to again teach at the high school.
I worked one year at Carnegie Elementary and four years at Taloga Elementary prior to working for Weatherford,
I have been married to my husband Lonnie for 41 years. I have one son and a daughter-in law who live in Edmond. My son and daughter-in law both graduated from Weatherford High School. I have two pets: LuLu my cat and Tuff Magoo my dog.
I love to read murder mystery novels as well as true stories. I like to garden and tend to my flowers. I love hanging out with my family when I am not teaching.
