This is a reminder if your High School student has a chrome book they need to check it into the office by 2:00 pm Thursday May 16th. If they have lost their charger it is $25.00 and cases are $50.00.

Last day of classes for Weatherford Public Schools is scheduled for Thursday, May 16. We would like to say thank you to all students, parents and community members for helping us have a successful year! GO EAGLES!

Weatherford High School will offer a Summer School to WHS students who are in need of Credit Recovery. Courses will be offered on an online platform, but students must attend the Summer School in person at Tom Stafford Elementary thru the month of June. Students will be required to attend Monday thru Thursday from June 5th - June 27th from 8am until noon. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided as well. Students will have to attend every day and agree to be on time. The high school counselors will be signing the students up for this. Thank you and have a great day!

WHS will be semester testing Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 16th. We will have an alternate bell schedule and class will let out at normal time on Wednesday and at 2:00 on Thursday. If they are a bus rider they will go to the cafeteria until buses run. If your student is exempt from testing they will be counted absent for semester test days. You can ignore the attendance call. Students that are exempt should not be anywhere near their allotted absences for the semester.

Students taking semester test will have extended lunch on Wed May 15 from 11:10 - 12:20 and Thur May 16 from 11:20 - 12:50. If you would like your student to stay ON campus please call the front office at 580-772-3385. Otherwise, your student can leave campus on these two testing days.

Attention parents of 2025 Seniors: Summer panel picture dates are June 25th, 27th, and 28th. We will send out the schedule at a later date. If you cannot make any of the summer dates, picture retakes will be October 28th during school.

Class of 2026 will have a parent meeting Tuesday May 14 @ 5:30 in the cafeteria to discuss prom and fundraising for the following year.

Seniors, This is a reminder that if you plan on decorating your graduation cap, it needs to be approved by Mr. Smith or Mr. Null by Thursday 5-9-24. Thanks

We are closely monitoring weather reports and want to work with families as they make decisions on what is best for their child. Currently, our plan is to maintain our regular school schedule and dismiss at the normal release time. Students and staff that are at the school will all have a safe place if concerning weather arises. We do understand that some families may prefer to pick up their child early. We also understand that your child may normally ride the bus, but you want to pick them up today. If this is the case, please let our offices know early so that we aren’t making last minute changes. Weatherford High School Girls Track Team was recognized today for being the 2024 Academic State Champions!

This weekend the WHS theatre department will present our spring play, The Last Shanty!! This show has been completely student written, directed, and designed! Please come out and support these young thespians and devoted student director, Izzy O'Bleness!   Saturday, May 4th we have TWO performances: 2:00pm and 6:00pm Sunday, May 5th we perform at 4:00pm $5 for Adults • $3 for Students Doors will open 30 minutes before the performance.

Due to the HS track meet today, all students who are shuttled to Burcham will need to be picked up on the south side of Pine Acres church at their normal times. Thank you.

"Parents of Seniors: Our Awards Assembly is scheduled for Friday, May tenth at 9AM. If your student has received a scholarship of any kind we would like to present their award to them at that time. Please have your student bring us their scholarship certificate, or an email or letter that they have received that describes the scholarship they will be awarded. If your student has been offered a scholarship at more than one institution of higher learning we will only present the award for the school that they plan to attend. If you have any questions about this please call Mrs. Hartman or Mrs. Cannon at the high school." Thank you!
