Seniors, PFL Seminar is tomorrow, 11/7/24, in the PAC Auditorium during Eagle Time 9:38 - 10-18. If you are unable to attend, a video will be posted in your Senior Schoology group for you to complete your required summary.

Due to inclement weather, the field trip to the OKC Bombing Memorial is canceled. Students will report to school at normal time.

Tonight the Weatherford Eagles will host Woodward in a 7PM district football contest. This is senior night with activities beginning BEFORE the game at 6:20PM. Go Eagles!

All 10th grade students will be taking the ACT on Tuesday, November 5th at 8:00 am. Please remind your student to report to the PAC by 7:50 am with a calculator and their Chromebook charged.

Congratulations to our Special Eagles and Unified Partners! We’re proud to share that our Special Eagles Unified team has received national banner recognition from @Special-Olympics-Unified-Champion-Schools, becoming the 1st of its kind in our area. To achieve this prestigious award, the Weatherford Special Eagles and Unified partners successfully met 10 standards of excellence determined by @Special Olympics, with a focus on Unified Sports, inclusive youth leadership, and whole school engagement. Congratulations, Special Eagles & Partners!!!

Attention Bus Rider Parents: Busses 2, 5, 7 & 8 are running at least 30 minutes behind today. Students are coming back from a field trip today and there is heavy traffic on I-40 which is causing this delay. Please contact your child's school if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you.

SENIORS: If you signed up to take the ACT test tomorrow (Tuesday, October 15th), this is a reminder to please be at the PAC at 7:45AM tomorrow morning to check in. This is also a reminder for you to bring your CHARGED Chromebook and an ACT approved calculator. Thank you!

Native American Parents/Guardians: There will be a JOM and Title VI meeting tonight (Thursday, October 3rd) starting at 6PM at the old art building at WMS (by the PE gym off of Broadway Street). Please make plans to attend if you are able. Thank you.

Seniors, Tomorrow is the first PFL seminar. You will meet in the PAC auditorium during Eagle Time (9:38 - 10:18). PFL is required for graduation. Any student unable to attend, needs to see Mrs. Wilson tomorrow for instructions on completing this standard's requirements.

Here are the 2024 Football Gameday Guidelines for all home games. - Students should remain in the stands unless going to the concessions or restroom. - There will be no gathering under the bleachers. - No patrons are allowed onto the field unless holding a WPS issued sideline or endzone pass. - WPS reserves the right to refuse entry. - WPS reserves the right to remove anyone from the premises for any reason. - Administration will be present as well as school resource officers and multiple officers for your safety.

The annual Custer County Conflict Canned Food Drive is 9/16-9/27 with the winner being announced at the Weatherford vs Clinton football game. Please send canned food and monetary donations to any of the schools during these days. Combined we raised over 54,000 lbs of food last year so we need to top that! Let's tackle hunger together and keep the trophy in the Dub! Go Eagles!
