Congratulations to Kelly Wilson on becoming the new High School Assistant Principal. Kelly has taught for 14 years in Special Education and was named the 2013 Weatherford Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Wilson has sponsored student council, special olympics, unified sports, and has coached various sports while at WPS.

Senior panel pictures will be in the PAC. Attached you will find the schedule with the day and time your senior is set to come get their panel picture taken. If you have any conflicts with the day or time your senior is scheduled, please email Steve at stevewheelerphoto@gmail.com.
Seniors will need to bring $25 for the sitting fee. It can be paid with cash, check, or Venmo: @SteveWheelerPhoto. Make checks payable to Steve Wheeler.
*** Proofs will be handed out within the first few weeks of school. You will be able to order panel pictures then if you would like at an additional cost.***
Boys need to wear a plain white t-shirt. Tux and cap and gown are provided. Girls need to wear a strapless top or a camisole so straps can be hidden under the drape.

This is a reminder if your High School student has a chrome book they need to check it into the office by 2:00 pm Thursday May 16th. If they have lost their charger it is $25.00 and cases are $50.00.
Last day of classes for Weatherford Public Schools is scheduled for Thursday, May 16. We would like to say thank you to all students, parents and community members for helping us have a successful year! GO EAGLES!
Weatherford High School will offer a Summer School to WHS students who are in need of Credit Recovery. Courses will be offered on an online platform, but students must attend the Summer School in person at Tom Stafford Elementary thru the month of June. Students will be required to attend Monday thru Thursday from June 5th - June 27th from 8am until noon. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided as well. Students will have to attend every day and agree to be on time. The high school counselors will be signing the students up for this. Thank you and have a great day!
WHS will be semester testing Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 16th. We will have an alternate bell schedule and class will let out at normal time on Wednesday and at 2:00 on Thursday. If they are a bus rider they will go to the cafeteria until buses run. If your student is exempt from testing they will be counted absent for semester test days. You can ignore the attendance call. Students that are exempt should not be anywhere near their allotted absences for the semester.
Students taking semester test will have extended lunch on Wed May 15 from 11:10 - 12:20 and Thur May 16 from 11:20 - 12:50. If you would like your student to stay ON campus please call the front office at 580-772-3385. Otherwise, your student can leave campus on these two testing days.

Attention parents of 2025 Seniors:
Summer panel picture dates are June 25th, 27th, and 28th. We will send out the schedule at a later date.
If you cannot make any of the summer dates, picture retakes will be October 28th during school.
Free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and under this summer!
Class of 2026 will have a parent meeting Tuesday May 14 @ 5:30 in the cafeteria to discuss prom and fundraising for the following year.

Due to predicted severe weather, we will be postponing physical night. We will reschedule for Wednesday, May 15th. Questions about the reschedule can be directed to Athletic Trainer Grant Schamburg gschamburg@wpsok.org
We are closely monitoring weather reports and want to work with families as they make decisions on what is best for their child. Currently, our plan is to maintain our regular school schedule and dismiss at the normal release time. Students and staff that are at the school will all have a safe place if concerning weather arises.
We do understand that some families may prefer to pick up their child early. We also understand that your child may normally ride the bus, but you want to pick them up today. If this is the case, please let our offices know early so that we aren’t making last minute changes.
Your child's safety is our top priority and we appreciate your cooperation in keeping our processes efficient and effective during these times.
